CSR GOLD

People were going on with their usual businesses people had earned money, had invested some spent some and saved some.

A story is told of many who had bought expensive cups and kitchen ware which they had stored in their shelves and had not used them.

In 1992 the place called is Olenguruone things turned out quite sour.

Violence broke out and every man took to his heels and didn't look back till they were sure that the place they were in was safe probably miles away from their original home, which they had spent their hard earned money to build.

Miles apart still in Kenya a place called Pokot a friend of mine was being forcefully ejected from 'his home'.

But how fast people forget.

The other day still in Kenya a sports event was to take place and the organizers had a meeting with the government officials concerned asking for financial assistance the government said they didn't have the money THEN COCA-COLA came to the rescue as they have done many times before, what's the other reason for making money than to give back to society and not just for personal gain.
